This last weekend I had an opportunity to go to my very first bridal party ever 😁😳I know right! I was kinda forced to go by my older sisi.. She’s cute, she knows I like free food and dressing up 😇💅💄💖.
This Bridal Shower/party was #traditional wear style of dressing. I had so much fun playing with the beautiful Xhosa accessories eg: bracelet, headgear worn as a necklace and my beautiful giraffe print scarf worm as head-wrap.
We had never been to such a party so we had to think fast because we did not own anything close to what we were wearing(accessories). We shopped the whole morning because we realized people do not like to lend out their stuff and who can blame them 😂
So we managed to pull off tradition and a modern look…. And not too shabby I must add.
At the end of the day we didn’t spend a fortune and we had a great time most importantly learnt a LOT! Xhosa woman are very expressive in their wear in-terms of color so this is mild.
One of the Pastor’s speaking in the event spoke of how the beautiful colors represent Christ and I posted a video link( AS SOON AS I LEARN HOW TO)
